Thomas Grube has joined Franchise Solutions Limited in August 2009.
After taking his A-Levels Thomas completed an apprenticeship in Restaurant Management.
In the following years Thomas extended his knowledge in foodservice and hospitality by working in the hotel industry as a Management Trainee. He then studied economics majoring in Marketing and Organisation and passed his Bachelor of Commerce in International Marketing.
His further career leaded him to various senior positions in Brand-, Product- and Sales Management. He has developed and launched several branch systems e.g. a chain of restaurants for Whitbread PLC Germany, a fast food concept for a German bakery with over 100 branches, a coffee bar concept for THIBO, the biggest coffee retailer in Germany with over 250 coffee shops and a system of convenience stores for the German market.
In 2006 Thomas founded a Management Consulting company that offered various services in the fields of franchising, concept and product development, marketing, branch supervision and quality management. His clients were in particular, chains of bakeries, coffee bars, restaurants and convenience shops.
After several trips to New Zealand Thomas got into contact with various companies, experienced the way of life in New Zealand and decided to start a new life in this country. Within Franchise Solutions Thomas is especially responsible for projects in the fields of foodservice, food retail and hospitality.
Thomas is born in Germany in 1964, married, plays the Violin and loves cooking and sports.
